CDCC PRODUCTS was founded in 1996 based on a need to provide a family of cleaning products for a rapidly growing, and difficult to clean, array of new coffee and tea brewers. Growth in the “away from home” coffee segment has exploded over the past 10 years; and, some forecasts predict a tripling of this segment over the next 10 years.

CDCC’s founders, Jack Weaver and Steve West, envisioned a “user friendly” cleaner that, in one step, would clean the brew basket, dispenser (glass, plastic or stainless steel), sight gauge and faucet. It was decided to package the cleaner in a tea paper pouch, hence the name “Filter Pouch Cleaner”, and to brew the cleaner as one would brew a pot of coffee or tea. This cleaning system exceeded all expectations and CDCC filed for and received two US Patents.
